The $15 million HQ Complex in Adelaide is a fully customisable venue that can comfortably cater for up to 2,000 guests.

Suitable for awards dinners, corporate events and conferences, the three-storey HQ Complex features six bars, three dance floors, a restaurant, mezzanines and balconies.

HQ Complex Director Stephen Rose emphasized the endless potential for functions at the new venue.

“We saw an opportunity to establish a purpose-built, leading live music venue in the heart of the city and, at the same time, add to the revitalisation of West End by providing a quality culinary experience and function space” he says.

“We worked hard during the design phases to ensure that the multi-purpose space can cater for almost any function. We have brought Adelaide a venue that can lend itself to a variety of world class events – there really is something for everyone at HQ and The Hindley.”

Although the space can be customised to suit any event requirements, there are five key function areas in the HQ Complex.

The Main Room is designed for Adelaide’s large-scale events. With its state of the art light and sound facility and full production capacity, it is a world class space that is ideal for major corporate functions and events, where guests can dine on the iconic HQ dancefloor. Above, The Mezzanine overlooks the Main Room and can be sectioned off by soundproof walls to create a private, elegant space with its own bar.

All set up for a corporate luncheon.

The Balcony is ideal for balmy Summer functions – think fresh cocktails and gourmet canapés enjoyed al fresco in a space that can cater for up to 150 guests.

Located on the ground floor, the Booths are the perfect space to hold an intimate sit-down dinner or cocktail party – it is a private space and has already been popular for Hen’s Nights and milestone birthdays.

With nightly entertainment and an extensive menu, the bar and dining area are suited for more casual gatherings. From birthday parties to family dinners, this space can host a variety of events and has a private area that can hold up to 80 people for more intimate occasions.

With its brand-new kitchen headed by local chef, Shane Piercy, the HQ Complex has a range of food offerings available from seasonal canapés to shared menus to gourmet two and three course meals. Menus can be specially designed to suit any event, all crafted with a selection of high-quality local produce.

“We pride ourselves on offering a flexible, high quality events service” Stephen says, “we can work with all clients to achieve and execute any event, within any budget.”

“We can’t wait to see what creative concepts will be brought to life at The Hindley and HQ.”
