Hot venue: SCG’s new event spaces

Last Thursday night Sydney Cricket Ground Events unveiled its new spaces in the recently built MA Noble and Don Bradman stands.

Last Thursday night Sydney Cricket Ground Events unveiled its new spaces in the recently built MA Noble and Don Bradman stands.

340 industry professionals admired the venues and enjoyed a glamorous evening of food, wine and entertainment.

The new spaces are the Skyline Terrace (pictured above), located four levels up, that can accommodate up to 1200 guests cocktail style, the Noble Dining Room that can accommodate 600 guests banquet-style or 1000 cocktail-style and The Brewers Pavilion that can accommodate 600 guests for for pre-dinner drinks and 150 – 450 as a dedicated cocktail space.

Trust chief executive Jamie Barkley said,“The new stand is Sydney’s first truly digital stand, one that combines the new digital sporting landscape with the deep history and heritage of the SCG.”

The new stand was built at a cost of $197.5 million, with the NSW Government contributing $97.5 million, while the SCG Trust and the Federal Government each contributed $50 million.
