Element by Westin debuts in Australia

Marriott International has opened the doors to Element Melbourne Richmond, marking the Element brand’s debut in Australia.

The long-stay brand focuses on an eco-conscious ethos and commitment to helping guests maintain a balanced lifestyle while travelling.

Located six kilometres from the city centre, Element Melbourne Richmond comprises 163 guest rooms and five deluxe balcony king rooms, each with natural light, spa-inspired bathrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi.

A select number of rooms also feature energy-efficient kitchenettes, ideal for guests planning a longer stay or those travelling in larger groups.

“We’re excited to be bringing a new experience to the Australian market, catering to the eco-conscious traveller who is looking to maintain a balanced lifestyle when on the road,” said general manager Harry Singh.

“From our spacious guest rooms, to our wholesome food options and amenities, no matter how long a guest stays, Element Melbourne Richmond ensures time away from home doesn’t mean time away from life.”

The hotel also boasts four modern meeting spaces on level five, spanning a total 256 square metres. The spaces can be configured to host up to 250 guests and are complete with the latest technology, eco-friendly practices and natural light.

An outdoor deck space is also available for events and provides sweeping views of Melbourne’s skyline and CBD.

For active guests, the fitness centre is open 24/7 offering yoga classes and a complimentary Bikes-to-Borrow program that allows guests to take their workout outdoors.
