Event in the spotlight: Official launch of Saltbox

Saltbox, the flagship event venue for catering company Cook & Waiter, recently celebrated its launch at Wunderlich Lane in Sydney’s inner-city suburb of Redfern.

“Saltbox Circle”, the official launch of Saltbox at Wunderlich Lane in Sydney.

How many guests attended?

Around 400 guests – clients, partners and industry peers – attended across two nights on Tuesday 26 August and Wednesday 27 August.

What was the planning process for the event?

Cook & Waiter says, “This was a really special milestone for us so we were closely involved in bringing it all together. From shaping the menus and curating the food and drinks, to ensuring everything ran smoothly across both nights, it was all for showcasing what Saltbox is about: effortless hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere.”

What were the highlights of the event?

The reveal of the Supper Club in the venue’s suites, with an indulgent dessert bar that stole the show.
A buzzing atmosphere across both nights that brought Saltbox to life.
Food and drinks that had guests gushing (and heading back for dessert seconds).

What was the feedback from guests?

Guests were very positive in their responses. They loved the vibe of the venue, the warm hospitality and especially the food. The desserts got a lot of special mentions.

Many guests described it as a really special night, and there was a lovely sense of excitement about what’s to come at Saltbox.
