Neon Carnival: AIME 2024 welcome event revealed

The highly anticipated welcome event for AIME 2024 has been revealed, with the industry spectacular on Monday, 19 February, announced as “AIME Neon Carnival at Grazeland”.

The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) takes place in Melbourne from 19-21 February and is the leading business events tradeshow in the Asia-Pacific region.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, AIME 2024 will attract more than 1600 attendees across three days, connecting event planners (buyers) with exhibitors from around the world.

The event will also feature the Ideas Academy presented by Spice, a two-day series of keynote speaker sessions and panel discussions delivering expert information and knowledge sharing about the events industry.

The AIME Neon Carnival at Grazeland welcome event promises to be a stunning evening of food, fun and entertainment at one of Melbourne’s iconic venues.

Grazeland is an outdoor foodie playground that showcases the city’s diverse food and beverage offerings. Featuring multicultural bars and food stalls, it will be transformed into a neon playground thanks to the creative minds of event producers Cirkus Bizurkus, which is helmed by creative director Fernando Barraza.

“With a focus on interactive live entertainment, clever, cool food and out-of-the-box drinks, I’m sure attendees will be inspired and uplifted at AIME’s Neon Carnival extravaganza,” says Barraza, who will also be speaking at the Ideas Academy presented by Spice, on Wednesday, 21 February.

“Have your camera handy and put on your dancing shoes – our musical acts will feature a world-first performance and sounds that will get you on your feet.

“This is a welcome event full of vibrant characters and photo moments – and most of all, fun.”

AIME event director Silke Calder promises there will be some surprises in store at the Neon Carnival at Grazeland.

“Let us inspire you,” she says. “We are so excited to offer this colourful foodie haven for the business events industry to network, dance and have fun.

“Embrace the different, feel uplifted and find your event inspiration at AIME’s Neon Carnival.

“While we are keeping some details under wraps, I guarantee there will be food, drinks, dancing and a few surprises for those who stay until the end. Watch this space!”
