Old Joe’s dude food diner opens in Cronulla

A Hamptons-style diner has opened alongside Cronulla stalwart Northies.

A Hamptons-style bar-diner has opened alongside Cronulla stalwart Northies. With interiors designed by stylist Sibella Court, the venue is named after a dearly departed milk bar operator and local legend, Joe, who ran a now famous Shire icon Joe’s Milk Bar up until the 1990s.

Old Joe’s is serving up southern American inspired bar snacks, with nod to milk bar classics, including 12hr pulled pork sandwiches, lobster rolls and spicy ribs. Drinks centre around a carefully curated cocktail list including rum and vodka spiders and milkshakes, a selection of batched creations and some fun shared cocktails served in kettles, backed by an extensive range of craft beers – Little Ripper, Squire Hop Thief, White Rabbit.
