Prior to the celebrity Chef meeting, the group of nine from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne travelled to Maui where they were hosted by Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa and Wailea Beach Marriott. They were also lucky enough to be among the first Australian travel industry professionals to see Maui’s newest luxury resort, Andaz Maui at Wailea. The group went ziplining, snorkelling and visited a number of unique off-site venues including the Ali’i Lavender Farm, Gannon’s Estate, Marilyn Monroe House, O’o Farm and Sugar Beach Venue.

The group then flew back to the island of Oahu where they stayed at the newly renovated Turtle Bay Resort, Sheraton Waikiki and the Modern Honolulu where they were lucky enough to dine at Morimoto’s – the restaurant of the world renowned Iron Chef Morimoto (pictured with the group). They also were able to experience attractions such as the Polynesian Cultural Center, Kualoa Ranch, USS Missouri and Pacific Aviation Museum and visited numerous offsite venues such as the historic Iolani Palace.
