Korea Tourism has recently launched the ‘Korea MICE Specialist Program’ to foster deeper knowledge and expertise in Korea’s MICE industry among Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), Destination Marketing Companies (DMCs) and travel agents seeking to develop Korean MICE products.

It is an online program consisting of three courses (offered in English and Chinese) which cover an introduction to Korea’s tourism industry including transportation, accommodation, shopping, food, as well as a curriculum on Korea’s MICE industry with a focus on regional MICE infrastructures, unique venues and experience programs. Upon successful completion of an online test (multiple choice), graduates will be awarded the Korea MICE Specialist Certificate.

Korea Tourism will also be selecting 30 graduates who successfully complete the program by 31 October 2015 based on merit to go on a fully-hosted 10-day Korea MICE famil.
