Jointly funded by BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort and a $250,000 federal grant from the Tourism Industry Regional Development Fund (TIRF), owner Greg McKinnon said, “We are thrilled to be starting the hands-on process of building the facility after all the applications and paperwork are now completed. We believe we have come up with a beautiful design which will work for many different groups and The Palm House will be a real asset to the Whitsundays meeting market. We appreciate the support of the Federal Government grant to help the Whitsundays area grow and prosper.”

The design incorporates a number of rooms to allow for small multi-use groups or larger gatherings of up to 100 guests. With an established reputation for their beautiful landscaped gardens, BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort will create another oasis of tropical gardens and water features around The Palm House. The first few bookings for The Palm House have already been taken for mid 2014.
