Intrepid Travel food truck showcases global gastronomy

The meals were in motion and it was tacos and po'boys aplenty for Sydneysiders when the Intrepid Travel food truck took over Sydney, showcasing a range of dishes from every corner of the world, including Spanish, Mexican and Southern American.

The meals were in motion and it was tacos and po’boys aplenty for Sydneysiders when the Intrepid Travel food truck took over Sydney, showcasing a range of dishes from every corner of the world – including Spanish, Mexican and Southern American.

The food truck was spied across five days at local hotspots in Sydney to launch Intrepid Travel’s new international food tours.

Following Sydney the Food Truck heads to Melbourne serving up delicious dishes as each dish denotes a taster of the offerings seen across the new food itineraries, where intimate and tailored tours cater to everyone from seasoned foodies to the just plain inquisitive.

More than 600 tasters have already been served up across the tour, with hungry foodies lining up to get the free nibbles.

The tasters include delicious churros, Turkish delights, zesty Mexican, fiery Indian and more – all mainstays of the various tours on offer to food-curious travellers.

The 20 trips will celebrate street fare, local specialties, secret home recipes, markets and urban food culture, and are sure to get any foodies mouth watering.

Offering travellers a more exciting alternative to traditional, high-end gourmet food tours, the trips have been designed to appeal to a broad range of travellers who want to combine their interest in food with a destination’s key travel highlights.

Like other Intrepid trips, they will be led by a local leader who is passionate and knowledgeable about the local food scene.
