Sydney’s Cabana Bar and Lounge celebrates birthday

Sydney’s Cabana Bar and Lounge recently threw a birthday party celebrating the venue’s 7th birthday on 29th of February.

Local identities and Norths Rugby alumni turned out in force as Cabana Bar was transformed with lush greenery, chesterfield lounges, marquees and chandeliers for the ‘polo’ themed event.

The event was attended by the likes of Danny Clayton, Dave Hosking (Boy and Bear), Jim Finn (Boy and Bear), Scott Fava and Mark Ella (both former Wallabies players).

Guests were treated to free flowing ‘Polo Gin Fizz’ cocktails (a delicious, pink grapefruit twist on the classic Gin and Tonic), along with an array of canapés, including Peking duck rice paper rolls, salt and lemon pepper calamari, mini wagyu beef burgers, poached chicken and spiced coconut noodle salad, grilled lamb salad and more.

DJ Anne Lunoe entertained the crowd at the event.

DJ Anna Lunoe kept the crowds dancing well into the evening, who were determined to have a good time despite the grizzly weather.

Cabana Bar and Lounge is a licensed club owned and operated by Northern Suburbs Rugby Football Club Limited.

In early 2005, Northern Suburbs Rugby Club in St Leonards underwent a total transformation and re-opened its doors in June 2005 as the Cabana Bar and Lounge. Since then, the outdoor terrace has been redesigned to enhance the ‘garden’ feel and now caters to large functions.

The Cabana Lounge is a flexible event space suited to corporate cocktail parties, conferences, product launches and gala dinners.
