Choice Hotels Acquires Properties in Australia and NZ

Choice Hotels Australasia (CHA) has added accommodation properties in New Zealand, Victoria and NSW to its network of Comfort Inn properties.

In New Zealand CHA has acquired the Comfort Inn Explorer Te Anau on the gateway to the World Heritage listed Fiordland National Park on New Zealand’s South Island. The 17 studio, one- and two-bedroom serviced apartments with have spacious lawns with barbeque facilities.

In Victoria CHA has acquired the recently refurbished Comfort Inn May Park Horsham, featuring one- and two-bedroom suites, wireless internet and a heated indoor pool and spa.  Local activities include a round of golf on Horsham Golf Course, trekking through the Grampians and rock climbing at nearby Mount Arapiles.

In NSW CHA has acquired the Comfort Inn Cobram Barooga Golf Club in Barooga, a 36-room hotel featuring a resort-style pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, mini golf course and wireless internet that is located beside the 36-hole Cobram Barooga Golf Course and is within easy reach of a range of wineries and art galleries.
