The Grace Hotel Sydney, an iconic heritage landmark nestled in the heart of the CBD unveils the refurbishment of its conference and event spaces.

The Grace Hotel Sydney unveils the refurbishment of its conference and event spaces, encompassing a full redesign of ten (10) meeting rooms across two dedicated floors.

Re-launched in October 2025, the renovation positions The Grace Hotel as one of the CBD’s newest and most comprehensively refurbished event venues. It delivers a contemporary, purpose-built environment with the largest event space, Wilarra-Jarara, being 371sqm with capacity for up to 400 guests. Designed to accommodate various options from executive board meetings to large-scale corporate functions and social events, the upgraded spaces blend the hotel’s signature Art Deco charm with modern finishes and flexible layouts, offering a timeless yet highly functional setting that reflects The Grace Hotel’s ongoing commitment to excellence.

This strategic investment marks a key milestone in the hotel’s ongoing evolution and further strengthens its position within Sydney’s competitive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) market.

The revitalisation delivers flexible room layouts, upgraded audio-visual infrastructure in partnership with Microhire to support hybrid meetings, and modern breakout and pre-function areas. The design pays homage to the hotel’s 1930s Art Deco heritage while integrating the expectations of today’s discerning event organisers and attendees.

The recent renovation and launch of the new conference spaces were in collaboration with renowned design firm ElvinTan Design. Together, the hotel and design firm combined the old-world charm with innovative design to create a venue that respects the hotel’s storied past while meeting the needs of today’s dynamic event market.

The refurbishment aligns with broader trends in corporate events, where the demand for unique, tech-enabled, and experience-driven venues continues to grow.
