MEA (Meetings & Events Australia) NSW branch is offering a full-day course on how to establish and conduct successful business relationships.
This unit that can be used toward a Diploma of Event Management or Certificate IV in Tourism (sales & marketing) deals with the skills and knowledge required to manage business relationships with customers or suppliers within a tourism or hospitality context.
It focuses on the relationship building and negotiation skills required by specialist sales and marketing personnel in the business events industry.
Speaking at the course will be Jacqui Muir, director of The Conference Manager, a Melbourne-based professional conference organising firm.
It will be held on August 26 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, from 8:45am to 4:00pm. Tickets are $280 for MEA members or $310 for non-members. Lunch is included.
