A small Sydney caterer is offering its top-tier clients unique rewards in the form of private dinner parties hosted in the proprietor’s luxurious inner city home.

Plated director, Savva Savas, said he hosts monthly dinner party at his home for top-tier clients to thank them for their patronage and to give them an opportunity to reward their own clients.

“It’s more of a reward as we don’t promote it. It’s not a commercial thing — just me entertaining people. There are no invoices involved,” he said. “It’s a no-brainer. People enjoy it and it gets talked about and hopefully brings in more work down the track.”

Savas has entertained groups of up to 20 people from industries as diverse as the media, health and beauty, legal and finance. He also hosts cocktail parties for groups of up to 40 people.

“Because it’s in my own home we have to look at the guest list and know who is being invited to make sure there is no conflict of interest,” he said. “You have to be very careful when bringing people into your home.”

Lauded by The Sydney Morning Herald as the caterer to turn to when you need help deciding what you want, Plated offers Italian and French provincial cuisine for groups up of to 300 people.

In addition to seated dining, Plated also offers a buffet service, canapé menu, shortbread gifts, as well as boxes and hampers, and is fully licensed.
