Following the recent rebrand of Northern Territory Convention Bureau to Northern Territory Business Events (NTBE), NTBE is set to introduce a new communication message ‘Different in every sense for business events’ at the Asia-Pacific Meeting and Incentive Event (AIME) this coming February 17-19. The rebrand talks to a broader audience and will position the Northern Territory as a competitive, distinctive and meaningful business events destination. In addition, visitors to the Northern Territory stand can expect to discover the unique products, services and experiences along with the support available to event organisers staging business events in Australia’s Northern Territory.

The new business events division message, summarizes the Northern Territory’s three key strengths in the business events industry: ‘People’, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Connection to Country’. ‘People’ who shape the Territory and enhance the business events experience. ‘Freedom’ is more than just expansive landscapes, it’s a mindset to embrace change, explore a new way of thinking and push boundaries. The NT allows business events visitors to break free from the complications of modern life and allows them the space to clear their minds and open up to something new. ‘Connection to Country’ refers to the transformative experience business events visitors have when visiting the Territory, forged through a strong connection between people and country.

Rebecca McCaig, Director Northern Territory Business Events said ‘NTBE anticipates our new messaging ‘Different in every sense for business events’ will assist our clients to better understand the NT and strengthen the NT’s image as a place for new opportunities, as well as a region of traditional and cultural intrigue’.

Along with NTBE, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet with 13 NT business events industry partners including convention centres, accommodation suppliers and tourism organisations, all highly experienced in business events.  Following the NTBE sponsored lunch event at AIME in 2019, NTBE will again sponsor an invitation-only lunch event for approximately 60 hosted buyers at the AIME atrium on 18 February. The event will feature a visual feast of the NT’s three light festivals, a taste of the NT’s unique Indigenous flavours along with an authentic and moving cultural performance. A brief destination presentation will also showcase why the NT is different in every sense for business events.

The NTBE and industry partners would like to welcome in advance visitors to the NT stand, which will be located at the Northern Territory stand.
