While computer programs are supposed to make it easy, too often they can be hard to navigate and time consuming to learn.

Recently launched for the Australian event industry, ManagEvent is an innovative, user friendly e-management system developed by Project Database’s Chris Lamb.

The Project Database Company was the recent award recipient at the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Awards for ‘Best New Product and Service’ for its sister product ExhibitOffice.

ManagEvent is a work flow management tool designed to make staff more productive and give management more control. The program, says Lamb, is intuitive to use and work flow is logical.

ManagEvent combines contacts, document management, project management, job costing, scheduling, time and expense tracking. This information is organised into a user friendly format making everyday functions easier and faster to do.

The multi user solution operates on both PC’s & Mac computers and integrates with Outlook (and the Mac equivalents) Word, Excel, and accounting applications such as Quickbooks and MYOB.

Lamb estimates that event organisers using the ManagEvent program will make staff up to 30% more productive.
