About Sotano Live!
For larger groups that want guests to be free to relax and enjoy a unique, yet accessible event in a gorgeous location with delectable food and interesting drinks, it is the perfect choice. With a Sotano Live! event, guests have the chance to get up close and personal with our team of chefs, sommeliers and mixologists at different tasting stations. At each station, one of our team cooks up, introduces and serves a variety of culinary delights such as paella, grilled meats and seafood, Spanish tapas and cheese and charcuterie selections to guests.
Or, for more intimate events that require something quite special, and a bit of life, a Spain vs. Australia Showdown! The Spanish Tapas Master class is another perfect choice.
Executive Chef Philippe Perrey’s Spanish Tasting Stations – $95 per person
This is a two hour menu where guests engage with staff as they create, cook and serve at interactive tasting stations including a:
- Selection of Spanish tapas station served by our food and beverage team
- Grill station throughout the event area
- Cheese and charcuterie station
- Paella station
The Spanish Tapas Master class – $85 per person
Personally conducted by Executive Chef Philippe Perrey, groups of up to 20 are taken through a cheese and charcuterie tasting (Cava tasting an optional upgrade of $25.00 per person) and then guided by Chef Philippe on how to cook up to three tapas dishes in this intimate Master class session. At the end of the class, the group will get to savour their culinary creations in the comforts of Nuevo37.
Spain v Australia: the charcuterie, cheese and wine showdown! – $125 per person
Hosted by our Executive Chef and Head Sommelier, up to 20 people at once can experience this culinary showdown between Spain and Australia. Spanish wine vs. Australian wine. Spanish cheese vs. Australian cheese. Spanish cured meats vs. Australian cured meats. Who will win?
