Epicure secures food services contract for Melbourne Cricket Club

Epicure is set to extend its 33 year partnership with the Melbourne Cricket Club following confirmation that it has been selected as the preferred tenderer for a five year contract to provide all food services at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).


Epicure is set to extend its 33 year partnership with the Melbourne Cricket Club following confirmation that it has been selected as the preferred tenderer for a five year contract to provide all food services at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

According to Robert Clifford, Victorian state manger for Epicure, the MCG is pivotal to the company’s commitment to the Leisure, Sports and Entertainment Sector.

“Our longstanding partnership with the Melbourne Cricket Club is critically important to Epicure. The successful re-tender of this flagship contract reinforces our capability in supporting major events of up to 100,000 people, including retail catering and corporate fine dining services.”

Epicure will continue to employ its core team, which expands to around 1,400 staff on major event days. EPICURE operates exclusively in a premium range of iconic venues across Australia and New Zealand.
