Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Conference Centre bring a new era to the West

The region will gain Penrith’s first 5-star hotel and a state-of-the-art conference centre, with the highly anticipated opening in August.

Western Sydney continues its remarkable transformation with the arrival of Pullman Sydney Penrith and Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC), opening two months ahead of schedule this August.

The completion of Penrith’s first 5-star hotel and a new state-of-the-art conference centre, one of the largest outside of Sydney’s CBD, comes at a pivotal moment as the West embarks on a new chapter of growth.

Located at the foot of the Blue Mountains, the world-class precinct has been thoughtfully designed by interiors and architecture firm, Turner Studio, to entice a feeling of curiosity and discovery. The curved shape of the building is inspired by the nearby Nepean River, while the entire property features unexpected bold and contrasting textures, with a colour palette inspired by the Blue Mountains.

Glen Erickson joins Pullman Sydney Penrith and WSCC as General Manager and brings more than 21 years of expertise in the sector.

“We expect the precinct will act as a catalyst for economic growth for the region, attracting local and international conferences, and positioning Western Sydney as a prominent player in the global business landscape,” comments Glen Erickson.

Pullman Sydney Penrith boasts 153 rooms with junior suites available, a cutting-edge wellness and fitness centre set to revolutionise the hotel ‘gym’ and a personalised sleep menu promising a great night’s sleep. The elevated hotel is positioned by Erickson as ‘bringing the romance back to 5-star accommodation,’ with an attention to detail and service, unlike anything Penrith has seen before.

As one of Australia’s most desirable and sustainably-minded premium hotel brands, Pullman is known for its energy, distinctiveness and unique character, offering a diverse guest experience for every type of traveller.

Pullman Sydney Penrith will service the WSCC, which is adjoined to the hotel. The WSCC features dynamic and sophisticated flexible conference spaces which span over 1,250 square metres. At the crux of innovation and connectivity, it will serve 1,000 seated guests and visitors can expect an unparalleled 5-star service with the latest wireless AV and staging capabilities. The WSCC’s food philosophy is designed with sustainability at its forefront and showcases quality local growers and producers throughout the region.

As part of the precinct is the Warami (pronounced Wara-Me) Community Centre, which will offer a base for local organisations to operate from. It includes flexible spaces for a broad range of community programs and a permanent home for two local not-for-profit charities.

As the region evolves further into a vibrant and thriving economic hub, with billions of dollars of infrastructure already underway, including the new international airport in Western Sydney, Pullman Sydney Penrith and WSCC stand ready to redefine the tourism, business and entertainment landscape. Together, they will offer a world-class experience, attracting visitors from near and far, and showcasing the rich offerings of Western Sydney.

The entire precinct is just weeks away from completion and all will be unveiled in August. Learn more at westernsydneyconferencecentre.com.au
