Hosting an event here ensures an unforgettable experience. Although the front of the heritage section of Parliament House is undergoing restoration works, entry into the building is easily accessible with clear signage and helpful staff on hand to assist. Rest assured there are no disruptions to our event spaces.

A prestigious venue for memorable events

Steeped in history and full of hidden surprises, the iconic NSW Parliament House is one of the most prestigious event venues in the country. Lending an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication, the venue continues to play host to a high calibre of esteemed guests, from British royalty and Hollywood stars to world leaders and other dignitaries. 

There are nine distinct event spaces within Parliament House, including a stunning auditorium, a large dining room with garden views and a majestic library which dates back to 1905.

For events of up to 300 sit down and 700 cocktail, our event spaces offer an elegant and versatile setting ideal for intimate gatherings, corporate conferences, award dinners, luncheons, and cocktail functions. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light and overlook the lush gardens of the Domain, and the Fountain Court area leading into the Strangers’ Foyer can also be booked for pre-event welcome drinks for up to 200 people.
