New-build Mercure hotel for Sydney’s Rouse Hill

The hotel will feature 78 rooms and conference facilities.

Accor has announced a new partnership with Lewis Land Group to bring a new-build Mercure hotel to Sydney’s Hills district.

Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill is currently under construction and is being developed alongside The Fiddler Hotel, a major dining and entertainment venue.

When it opens in July 2019, the four-storey hotel will feature 78 guest rooms, including four disability rooms, a fitness centre and pool, plus conferencing and event spaces.

Accor chief operating officer Pacific Simon McGrath said the development will positively contribute to the economic growth of Sydney’s North West.

“Development in Sydney’s west is gaining momentum and the opening of a new international-quality midscale hotel will positively contribute to the economic and tourism growth of the area through job creation and services,” he said.

“Accor is delighted at the opportunity to partner with Lewis Land Group and introduce the Mecure brand to Sydney’s Hills District adding quality new hotel supply.

“Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill will deliver authentic, locally inspired service and experiences to both business and leisure travellers.”

Mercure Sydney Rouse Hill is located approximately 45 minutes by road from Sydney International Airport and Sydney CBD.
