Event producers George P Johnson utilised some unique interactive technology to engage attendees at a launch of the Toyota Hybrid Camry.

The Toyota dealer’s network attended the event held in early February at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Using an interactive technology provided by Sydney-based Vizi New Media, the event’s producers projected an image of the car onto the show floor allowing guests top engage with the product and learn about the car’s features.

“The reason why the client wanted to use our system was to engage their dealers in a highly innovative way and outline the main new features of the new model” said Vizi New Media’s managing director, Con Hatzigiannis.

“There were icons around the car naming these features and as delegates stepped onto the icon, an animation or video would start, showing how the particular feature worked. The response from the dealers was extremely positive, with many commenting how much more effective this way of highlighting the cars features was, than what had previously been done.”

The company also provides interactive systems that engage guests at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum, the Sydney Aquarium at Darling Harbour and the world’s largest interactive table at Melbourne’s Eureka Tower.
