Sofitel Brisbane’s conference and catering team recently hosted more than 150 clients for a spectacular fire and ice themed conference and catering showcase.

The extravagant event was hosted at the hotel’s Ballroom Le Grand and highlighted the food and beverage flair of Inspired Meetings, as well as the hotels exciting conference initiatives for 2011.

New menu’s, state of the art AV displays and spectacular entertainment were on show as guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails from ‘fire and ice’ themed stations. A fire act trio and gymnastics’ master proved popular entertainment and added a feeling of ‘cirque du soleil’ to the evening.

Local corporate clients from banking, mining and education sectors attended the showcase as well as the hotels leading PCO’s and associations.

The French-inspired property offers guests an award-winning spa retreat, several dining outlets including the multi award-winning Prive249, a gaming lounge, dedicated Champagne bar and one of the largest club lounges in the country – Club Sofitel, located on level 30 of the hotel.
