Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal (Princess Anne) is in Brisbane today attending the international agricultural conference, hosted by the RNA at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

The Princess Royal will be in town to attend the 26th Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth (RASC) conference, hosted by the RNA at the Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), Brisbane Showgrounds.

This is the first time the RASC conference has been held in Queensland and has attracted more than 230 delegates from around the world.

The RNA’s Brisbane Showgrounds is no stranger to hosting the Royal Family. In 1920, Edward, Prince of Wales visited the Brisbane Show; and in 1954 welcomed Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh for Queen Elizabeth’s first visit to Australia as Queen.

Tonight HRH, The Princess Royal will join delegates at the RNA’s Great Australian BBQ which will feature Australia’s best steak, lamb, wine, cheese and dairy products as judged in this year’s Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show, which featured at this year’s Royal Queensland Show (Ekka).
