The National Sports Museum (NSM) has organised a festival designed to assist Melburnians this weekend (Jun 20-21) when no AFL matches are scheduled.

Roving performers, football trivia and live music have
been offered by the National Sports Museum to help
AFL fans through a weekend without footy

The Winter Warmup Festival will feature Circus Oz performer Matt Wilson, who’s created his own sport of climbing stacks of wobbly chairs and a quiz show focusing entirely on football trivia.

Other activities will include tours of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), roving entertainers, talks from museum curators, displays of historic racing cars, live music and a special children’s display of robot-soccer, where specially designed robots endeavour to play soccer better than humans.
