Last Tuesday in Sydney, guests frocked up in 1920s flapper attire to celebrate the annual FAMOUS Melbourne Cup Party at Piano Room.

Radio and television presenter Maude Garrett officially welcomed guests before launching the festivities with a runway show by Australian fashion label KUKU, Jendi millinery and Styletread footwear, featuring previous Australia’s Next Top Model finalists Alyce Crawford and Demelza Reveley.

The afternoon of entertainment continued with popular covers band Suite Az kicking off a live music lineup, which also featured popular Piano Room residents The Silver Lining. To keep the girls looking glam throughout the day, Christopher Hanna Hair were tending to the tresses of the many guests as
makeup brand Vani-T also provided touch ups to ensure ladies’ looks lasted the distance. Those guests wanting to get a little silly discovered the Polite In Public photo booth with themed props, which provided hours of fun into the evening.

Guests were treated to Spanish and Moroccan inspired canapes.

Accompanying the menu were Rocking Angel, Vodka O, Jameson and Beefeater cocktails along with Rosemount wine Yellowglen sparkling, and the new Magners cider varieties, which proved a hit amongst the invited guests.
