A high Australian Dollar is producing strong inbound numbers for Los Angeles hotels and it’s a trend that is showing no signs of abating, says Ramada Plaza West Hollywood Managing Director Alan Johnson.

Speaking exclusively to SPICENEWS on camera at AIME in Melbourne recently, Australian expatriate Johnson said his property was performing very well out of down under – especially in the MICE market – thanks not just to the strong Australian Dollar, but affordable airfares from Qantas, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Delta, Hawaiian Airlines and United.

He also said the growth of Wyndham in the Australasian market was paying dividends for the property.
