AIME 2010: Info Salons launches iEvent app for iPhones and Smartphones

Info Salons Group today launches an application for Apple iPhones and Smartphones such as Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung at the AIME 2010 exhibition.

Info Salons Group today launches an application for Apple iPhones and Smartphones such as Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung at the AIME 2010 exhibition.

iEvent gives delegates, visitors and exhibitors the ability to navigate event schedules details, exhibitor information and access to the exhibition floorplan before, during and after the event direct from the phone.

Info Salons will soon release iStore which currently operates the Info Salons Tracker that captures qualified lead generation for exhibitors at trade shows. The new iStore app will allow exhibitors to use their phones to capture delegate and visitor information.

“When iPhone was launched, we rea;lised there was great potential to create applications for it that could place event information at the fingertips of attendees and exhibitors,” said Info Salons Group CEO, Jo-Anne Kelleway.

“Our iEvent – iPhone app, an extraordinary interactive event portal that allows visitors and exhibitors to maxmise their time during an event, ahs been incredibly well-received,” she said.

“Exhibitors have been asking for an easier lead generation tool. Now with our iStore – iPhone app they will be able to generate those important leads right from their own phone.

“The new app keeps everything stored electronically in your pocket, and is definitely the way event information will be managed in the future.”
Info Salons applications for Smart Phones will be available from July 2010.
