Sunnymead Hotel shines bright on Great Ocean Road

Designed to encourage an all-inclusive solution for groups and events, the boutique hotel makes it easy for groups to stay, meet, dine, gather and be rewarded.

Sunnymead Hotel in Aireys Inlet, Victoria has opened, celebrating with an official pool party-style launch event last week to showcase the property’s new facilities its capability to host private functions, weddings, and corporate events.

Fun and bright, the revamped former Lightkeepers Inn Motel features 20 rooms with a touch of retro glam throughout the property’s indoor and outdoor spaces.

The hotel’s well-equipped outdoor space lends itself to entertaining up to 50 delegates, with a fire pit and pizza oven available, while the outdoor pool bar “Sunnies”, offers a unique function space around the sun lounges under bright yellow umbrellas.

Other highlights of the boutique property include Indie day spa and bathhouse which can accommodate up 20 guests for treatments at the same time, modern fusion restaurant Santara which caters for up to 30 delegates with creative cocktails and dishes designed to share, and yellow Volkswagen Kombi ‘Daisy’, which makes for a great photo backdrop and is also available for transfers and group tours of the Great Ocean Road.

The property joins Great Ocean Road Resort and Anglesea Riverside Motel, shared by co-owners Damien Cerantonio and Graeme Harris.
