Sofitel Brisbane Central expands executive team

The hotel has welcomed a host of talented new members to its sales and executive teams, unveiled its refreshed dining spaces, and reopened its executive lounge.

Sofitel Brisbane Central has welcomed a host of talented new members to its sales and executive teams, with the new appointments bringing a diverse range of experiences from across the business and events industry to their roles.

New appointments to the executive team include Julia Devita as director of sales, Mitch Nicholson as director of revenue, Bastian Boll as executive chef, and Mark Mewburn as director of marketing.

Each of them experts in their own discipline, they bring with them a renewed focus to Sofitel Brisbane Central, merging fresh ideas with Sofitel’s signature French ‘Art De Vivre’ to drive business outcomes for 2022 and beyond.

Additionally, Sofitel Brisbane Central’s in-house conference and events team has hit the ground running since the hotel’s reopening last month, with an expanding team and stylish uniforms that have been selected to be in line with the Sofitel Fashion Collection.

The reopening of the hotel has also seen the return of its executive lounge, Club Millésime. Positioned on the top floor of the hotel, the lounge offers guests respite thirty floors above the bustling city, with sweeping views all the way out to the hinterland. Exclusive privileges include complimentary buffet breakfast with reserved seating, afternoon tea, and evening drinks and canapés.

Outside the exclusive lounge, guests can enjoy the hotel’s refreshed restaurant and bar spaces, alongside a new suite of brands that will complement the reimagined dining experiences, while Suzette, ChouChou, Cuvee, and Prive continue to evolve throughout the year.

Also making a highly awaited return will be the high tea and seafood buffet, both of which will be back later this month.
