A group of 20 PCOs and their families recently travelled from Sydney and Melbourne to experience InterContinental Hotel Group’s first Voco hotel, Voco Gold Coast.

The group enjoyed a weekend of fun at the hotel, which recently opened following a multi-million-dollar transformation.

To kick off the famil, guests enjoyed some Me Time, one of the hotel brand’s hallmarks, before being entertained in the function rooms with a progressive interactive dining experience.

Guests were then taken to see the hotel’s resident bees who were responsible for producing the honeycomb they enjoyed at the dessert station.

The following day, guests were hosted in the Kingfisher Marquee for brunch bites, freshly made juices and mimosa, while enjoying lawn games, a caricaturist and live reptiles.

In the evening, the group experienced the hotel’s vibrant Social House for dinner and cocktails.

The famil was designed to give PCOs an opportunity to experience the new hotel, and get to know its conference and meeting facilities.

The hotel boasts 10 meeting spaces which can be configured in multiple ways. The Osprey Ballroom can hold up to 400 people cocktail-style, while there are numerous breakout session spaces to take advantage of.
