Following an extensive refurbishment, iconic Sydney venue Pumphouse Sydney has reopened with a fresh new look, including a new wine room.

This famous venue once supplied power to the city and today, its sophisticated industrial design pays homage to its history and signature heritage traits of the building. High end finishes and metallic touches add to the premium yet welcoming space which also features cosy fireplaces and an open terrace overlooking Darling Square.

A highlight of the relaunched venue is the addition of a wine room which features a wide selection of local and international wines and offers tastings. The wine room can also be booked for private dining and special events for up to 10 people seated.

There are three additional events spaces which include Level 1 for 120 pax cocktail, and Terrace and Mezzanine, both of which cater for up to 60 pax cocktail. Pumphouse Sydney can also be hired out exclusively, offering 378 square metres of space and catering for up to 417.

Drawing inspiration from the venue’s history, Pumphouse Sydney head chef Anthony Kirk and his team have created a new menu, fusing great Australian pub food with grazing dishes designed to share.

Pumphouse Sydney is located at Novotel Sydney Darling Square, just a stone’s throw to ICC Sydney.
