Gain expert tips on how to make your events more sustainable at Events Uncovered

Three inspiring industry experts will share their tips and advice on creating and delivering 'Events with a conscience', at Spice Knowledge Sessions next week.

Three inspiring expert speakers will share their top tips and advice on how to deliver events that are more sustainably conscious, at Events Uncoveredtaking place in Sydney on Thursday 28 July.

Alongside the free events exhibition, the Spice Knowledge Sessions will feature a full day of panel sessions, Q&As and presentations covering a broad range of topics relating to the events industry.

The panel session ‘Events with a conscience’ will discuss sustainability and social responsibility in the business events industry, with industry leaders sharing their expert insights and advice on creating kinder events while still providing strong ROI.

Events Uncovered attendees will hear from:

  • Nicole Walker, Managing Director, Arinex
  • Anna Sheppard, CEO, Bambuddha Group
  • Simla Sooboodoo, Founder, SLAK Flowers

Simla Sooboodoo will also deliver the keynote address and Nicole Walker will join Andrew Hiebl, CEO of Association of Australian Convention Bureaux, Geoff Donaghy CEO of ICC Sydney and Peter McDonald, CEO of MEA, in providing a state of the industry update.

Event technology will also be a focus in this year’s program, with Chris Schlueter (Sprintr), Joe Ciliberto (EventsAir) and Michelle Schuberg (Curiious) taking part in a panel discussion on all things tech.

Mental health advocate and BeyondBlue speaker Crosbie Lorimer, will share his inspiring story of hope, recovery and resilience at the must-attend session on Finding balance in work and life.
