Curtis Stone partners with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria

Curtis Stone Events will be providing the catering and hospitality for the Gardens' array of private events and weddings as well as delivering a new series of public events.

Following a competitive tender process, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria has announced Curtis Stone Events (CSE) as its new catering partner.

CSE will be providing the catering and hospitality for the Gardens’ array of private events and weddings as well as delivering a new series of public events, including Curtis’ hugely popular ‘Picnic Society’ concept which was born during Covid – allowing visitors to the Gardens to have the ultimate al fresco experience. Ticketed events will include ‘Curtis & Friends’, where Curtis and his celebrity chef friends will host lunches and dinners.

Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria director and chief executive Tim Entwisle said the new partnership was a great match.

“It’s a winning combination – the experience and ethos of Curtis Stone, perfectly matched with the most stunning botanical landscape in the world, and recent winner of Victoria’s Major Tourist Attraction for the third year running!,”  Entwisle said.

The Gardens is a beloved place where lifelong memories are made, and Curtis and his team excel in creating experiences that leave guests talking long after the last glass is poured.”

CSE was launched in February 2020 by internationally renowned, Michelin-starred Australian chef Curtis Stone, his bother Luke and longtime friend Chris Sheldon. Stone won two more Michelin Stars recently, one each for his multi award-winning LA restaurants Maude and Gwen, after winning his first for Maude in 2019.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, the heritage-listed Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is one of the most beautiful in the world, offering a premium outdoor event space that is able to accommodate scores of visitors comfortably.
