Royal Caribbean bringing two new ships to Australia

Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas is coming down under for the first time to join the cruise liner’s local fleet.

Royal Caribbean has announced Voyager of the Seas will return to Australia after a five-year break with Anthem of the Seas making its first trip down for the 2025-2026 summer period.

The ships will be part of a line-up of journeys to the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, sailing between November 2025 and April 2026.

Royal Caribbean’s Australian managing director, Gavin Smith, says the season will offer new experiences and productions.

“Between the excitement of Anthem of the Seas making its Australian debut, Voyager’s return Down Under and more weekend getaways than ever before, the 2025-2026 summer season is one for the books,” he says.

“From short getaways to a longer sailing from Asia, and new experiences like the show-stopping We Will Rock You musical production, ice-skating shows and six exclusive family adventures created by Royal Caribbean and Wiggly Friends.”

New to Australia, Anthem of the Seas will arrive in Sydney in November 2025.

In addition to longer cruises, the company will offer two-to-four-night coastal cruises.

Royal Caribbean already has two ships based in Australia for the cruising season, with the new cruise liners joining Ovation of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas.
