City of Canada Bay to open new events venues at Concord Oval

Sydney’s City of Canada Bay, will open a suite of brand-new meetings and events venues in July 2022 as part of the $84 million Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct.

With views across the historic Concord Oval, the flexible venues will consist of three meeting spaces and two event spaces, which can be combined into a larger space, opening up onto a large outdoor terrace and balcony.

Each of the spaces will feature state-of-the-art AV equipment, modern furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering an abundance of natural light, and even the chance to spot the Wests Tigers training in the background.

“We’re thrilled to open the new venues in July this year as part of our ground-breaking Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct,” City of Canada Bay Deputy Mayor Stephanie Di Pasqua said.

“With their central location, contemporary fittings and flexible spaces, the City of Canada Bay’s new venues at Concord Oval are the perfect choice for your next meeting, corporate event or function, offering some of the most unique views available in Sydney.”

The Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct project is jointly funded by the NSW Government in association with the Australian Government, the City of Canada Bay, and Wests Tigers.

The precinct will also be home to the Wests Tigers Centre of Excellence, opening mid-2022, as well as several new community facilities, including a brand-new indoor recreation centre, opening in late 2022.
