QantasLink adds 200,000 annual seats in regional Queensland

QantasLink is adding over 200,000 seats per year throughout regional Queensland with the introduction of Boeing 717 jet services from Brisbane to Rockhampton, Gladstone and Mackay from mid-March.


QantasLink is adding over 200,000 seats per year throughout regional Queensland with the introduction of Boeing 717 jet services from Brisbane to Rockhampton, Gladstone and Mackay from mid-March.


QantasLink has added a range of extra flights
across regional Queensland

“QantasLink’s new 115-seat B717 services will offer customers faster flight times and more seats at peak times by complementing existing aircraft on these routes,” said QantasLink Executive Manager Narendra Kumar.

Alongside the jet services, QantasLink is also adding additional Dash-8 Q300 and Dash-8 Q400 flights to Emerald, Roma and Bundaberg from Brisbane, along with extra flights between Cairns and Weipa, and Townsville and Moranbah.

Flights between Cairns and Horn Island and Townsville and Cloncurry/Mt Isa are also being upgraded to a larger Dash-8 Q400 74-seat aircraft.
