There’s still time to get your application in for the MEA scholarship for 2016.

The Ungerboeck Young Professional Scholarship is for under 30s working in the meetings and events industry in all states and territories of Australia.

The scholarship offers the successful applicant registration to the MEA national conference, air travel, and accommodation for the conference from the nearest capital city.

To be eligible, the nominee must be 30 years of age or under at date of applications closing with less than three years’ full time experience in the meetings and events industry; hold a position in the company that would not necessarily entitle them to attend the conference; have demonstrated commitment to their job and a keen interest in the meetings industry; be employed by a MEA member; and be available for interview in mid-February 2016.

If successful, the scholarship winner must be able to attend the 2016 National Conference in Melbourne 17-19th April 2016.

To apply, email a current CV including details of your current role, a letter of application, including why you are applying and how you feel this scholarship would benefit you, a letter of support from your employer, and your contact details to shirley@mea.org.au by 31 January, 2016.
