Darwin Festival has just wrapped up for another year at the Darwin Botanic Gardens and George’s Green.

Kicking off with Midnight Juggernauts gig Santos Opening Concert at the Amphitheatre, the festival ran for 18 days from 8- 25 August and featured 85 local and Australian music acts.

New at the festival this year was The Pendopo, an open air bandstand located on George’s green that provided a one-stop shop for free music, dance and the exchange of artistic ideas.

It’s estimated that festival attracted around 110,000 audience members and contributed approximately $6.3 million to the local economy
