
Lewis-Smith departed BESydney in mid-2025 and brings more than 20 years of board and leadership experience across ASX-listed companies, academia, government and the not-for-profit sector.
She has served as a Business NSW state councillor since February 2025, and has expertise in global governance, commercial strategy, public policy, stakeholder engagement and international market development.
As former CEO of BESydney, Lewis-Smith GAICD led a global team across Europe, North America and Asia to attract international meetings and investment to Australia, delivering long-term economic and strategic outcomes.
She is a Fellow and Adjunct Professor at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), co-chair of the UTS Business School advisory board, and a member of Chief Executive Women’s Policy and Engagement Committee.
