Blue Mountains Lithgow and Oberon Tourism (BMLOT) has denied claims today that it has gone into liquidation.

At the Australasian Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) in Melbourne today (Apr 30), leading hotel owner Dr Jerry Schwartz, who owns the Fairmont Resort MGallery in Katoomba, told the audience one of his staff emailed him with the news last night.

However, BMLOT Executive Officer Mike Sperling has refuted the claims after being contacted by Spice News.

“BMLOT continues to operate … we’re at work as normal and there’s nothing further to say,” he said.

BMLOT is the membership-based representation body for tourism operators within the region.
