Wyndham Resorts and songwriter Jimmy Buffett hit the surf

A Gold Coast based international hospitality company has paired up with an international superstar to show off some of the Gold Coast's best assets, the sun and the surf.


A Gold Coast based international hospitality company has paired up with an international superstar to show off some of the Gold Coast’s best assets, the sun and the surf.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s CEO and managing director, Barry Robinson joined international singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett for a surfing session at Surfers Paradise Beach with Gold Coast’s First Wave Surf School.

The pair took to the waves on Saturday morning following Jimmy Buffett’s concert at Riverstage in Brisbane, as part of his 2012 Australian tour. Several Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific employees attended the sold-out concert.

Buffett is set to introduce his famous American chain of restaurants, Margaritaville to Surfers Paradise soon.
