Stamford announces refurb plans for Adelaide hotels

The hotel brand is celebrating 25 years in Adelaide with a series of upgrades.

Stamford Hotels is celebrating 25 years in South Australia this November and will mark the occasion with a series of refurbishments across its two Adelaide properties.

Stamford Plaza Adelaide Hotel and Stamford Grand Adelaide at Glenelg Beach will fully refurbish their suite accommodation, with all rooms to be completed by mid-2020.

The Plaza’s 13 Junior City Suites will get a modern makeover, with a new colour concept, designer bedhead, Art Deco mirrors, plush bathrobes and slippers and premium Appelles Apothecary & Lab beauty products.

Meanwhile, The Grand’s will revamp its 31 Stamford Ocean Suites, which offer uninterrupted sea views from the bed, spa bath and living room.

The new suite is styled with modern, beach-inspired decor and features a generous dining setting, large flat screen TV, modern art, spacious marble bathrooms and ample natural light.

David Donald, area general manager for both hotels said the new suites are a welcome addition to the properties.

“We are incredibly fortunate that our hotel owners continually invest in our hotels,” he said.

“With new hotel stock coming into the market in 2020, we are confident that our Stamford Hotels in Adelaide will hold their own with new rooms, long-established service excellence and a line-up of special events and dining outlets to keep our loyal customers coming back, again and again.”
