Rydges welcomes two regional properties

The Tamworth and Armidale hotels are well-equipped to host events.

Event Hospitality & Entertainment has added two regional New South Wales hotels to its growing Rydges network.

Joining the portfolio is Powerhouse Hotels, which includes properties in Tamworth and Armidale, both currently branded as Quality Hotels.

The Tamworth property has relaunched as Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges, while Armidale will relaunch as Powerhouse Hotel Armidale by Rydges on 31 July, 2019.

Both hotels will continue to be managed by Powerhouse Hotel Group owner and hotelier Greg Maguire.

“Powerhouse Hotels is an Australian owned family business and we’ve been operating in regional NSW for the past 39 years,” said Maguire.

“Over this time we’ve developed a solid reputation for being at the heart of the business community with exceptional service, quality restaurants and bars and luxurious facilities.”

Powerhouse Armidale by Rydges

The Powerhouse Hotel Armidale by Rydges is a 4.5-star hotel with 57 rooms and suites.

The hotel also offers a wine and tapas bar, as well as event spaces for up to 220 guests.

Following multi-million-dollar upgrade, Powerhouse Hotel Tamworth by Rydges has risen from a 4.5-star rating to a 5-star property.

The hotel features 81 rooms including new Powerhouse King Rooms and Suites, an on-site restaurant five event spaces suitable for up to 300 delegates.
