RESORT GOALS: New overwater suites at Four Seasons Bora Bora

This might be far-fetched for corporate events but hey, we love a good overwater villa as much as the next person.

Upping its luxe factor even further, Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora has revealed a series of room upgrades throughout the property and eight brand new overwater bungalow suites.

Six of the new suites feature infinity-edge plunge pools set on private decks that extend out over Bora Bora’s famous lagoon.

A further six plunge pools have also been added to existing overwater bungalow suites, bringing the total overwater accommodation with pools to 27 and the total overwater room count to 108.

As part of the works, each of the resort’s one- and two-bedroom overwater bungalow suites have been refreshed to reflect a more contemporary Polynesian feel.

This includes new furniture, fixtures, lighting and technology, plus the installation of solar panels on each roof to provide a sustainable power source for heating water.

In case you were wondering, one night’s stay can set you back anywhere between $2000 and $8000.

The resort has also unveiled MoeMoea, a brand new shopping experience within the property.

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora general manager Diego Stembert said the accommodation upgrades and shopping precinct are welcome additions to the resort.

“As one of the world’s most celebrated resorts, we are thrilled to showcase our new and enhanced overwater bungalow suites, as well as MoeMoea,” he said.

“We believe that life is better over water, and now our overwater experience is better than ever.”

A number of meeting and event spaces are also on offer at the property, including Otemanu Pavilion for up to 125 delegates and the Pahia meeting room for 70 delegates.
