Pro-Health China held its annual mega-incentive event at Luna Park Venue’s Big Top in Sydney last month.

The second largest event on Business Events Sydney’s 2014 calendar selected Luna Park’s Big Top because of the venue’s iconic location, large capacity and entertainment options right on Sydney Harbour.

Over 4000 high-achieving distributors attended the gala dinner and event, held over eight days between 21 – 28 September.

Guests arrived by Captain Cook Cruise straight to the entrance of Luna Park via the Luna Park Wharf with Pro-Health banners erected throughout the wider park to welcome them. Dressed in cowboy and cowgirl outfits, they were greeted by dancing kangaroos and Luna Park entertainers supplied by Business Events Sydney and Luna Park.

Both the meeting and gala dinner were hosted at Luna Park and included the stage, lights, curtains, furniture, an AV package, gourmet food and beverage, security, staff, cleaners, waiters and four complimentary performers to interact with guests each night.

The Big Top’s built-in stage in its main auditorium hosted live entertainment during the award ceremony and the 1500sqm open floor and additional mezzanine level accommodated 600 guests each night over the course of the event for a very successful evening. As a HACCP certified and a Gold Licence caterer, with internationally trained chef, Mark Taylor at its helm, Luna Park Venues prepared a premium three-course menu for guests each night.

Pro Health China menu:

  • Entree: Warm avocado and tahini tart with oven roasted cauliflower, summer leaves and red radish salad, goat’s cheese crumbs, semi dried cherry tomato, sumac and olive oil
  • Main (alternate): Braised beef shin, smoked green wheat freekeh risotto, charcuterie garnish jus or a chermoula crusted barramundi, spiced lentils, gingered carrots & cucumber yoghurt
  • Dessert: Warm chocolate truffle, vanilla ice cream, crème patisserie, strawberry and butterscotch sauce

The success of the event was only possible thanks to the successful collaboration with key partners of the event including Business Events Sydney, Microhire and O’neill Photographics.
