Wood fired pizza and tapas bar Spakka-Napoli brings a little piece of Naples to Sydney’s Neutral Bay.

Named after a famous road that runs through the middle of Naples, the new restaurant is owned and run by Italian childhood friends Danny Sibillo and Luigi Peluso. The pair moved from Italy to Sydney ten years ago and have worked together making world-class pizza ever since.

Luigi studied chemistry in Naples and is a dab hand at producing his own yeast and Danny was born into the hospitality business with his mother working as a chef for 25 years. The old friends have both worked at highly awarded restaurants in Italy and Australia and opening their own restaurant is the realisation of a lifelong dream for the two friends. Love for food is the main philosophy behind the restaurant, and what is more Italian than love?!

Spakka-Napoli has an upstairs private function room that seats up to 50 people. The downstairs dining room seats 100 people with capacity for a further 50 people seated on the outdoor terrace. The whole venue can be hired out privately for both seated and cocktail-style functions.
