Hot venue: Pacific Dunes Country Club, Port Stephens

Pacific Dunes Port Stephens has unveiled its new $3 million Country Club.

Located within Pacific Dunes, overlooking the championship golf course, the Country Club includes a new restaurant called The Greenhouse, a bar, 200-seat event venue and golf shop.

The Greenhouse menu features locally sourced ingredients, including those sourced from the adjoining kitchen garden and from farmers and fishermen in the surrounding area. Featuring both indoor and outdoor dining with views overlooking the 18-hole golf course, the Greenhouse provides a relaxed and comfortable fine dining experience.

With a capacity of up to 200 delegates, the event space is the newest, largest and most environmentally-sustainable venue in the area.

Delegates using the new club will also be able to play on the championship, 18-hole Pacific Dunes Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman’s lead Australasian designer, James Wilcher, and ranked among the best golf courses in Australia.

Pacific Dunes Port Stephens also features a 25m swimming pool, tennis courts and walking trails and is only 7km from Newcastle airport and 30km from the heart of Port Stephens in Nelson Bay.
