Frasers Hospitality has announced the launch of its urban-inspired, design-led Capri by Fraser brand into Brisbane later this month, with bookings taken from March 23.

This will be the fourth Frasers property in Australia and will join Fraser Suites Sydney, Fraser Place Melbourne and Fraser Suites Perth.

The Capri brand motto is ‘always connected’ which translates into iPad-activated check-ins, e-Concierge, e-Print facilities, fast and free wireless Internet to keep guests constantly connected, and providing the option of in-room cooking or restaurant dining, working out at the gym any time of the day, and doing your own laundry or having it done for you.

Frasers Hospitality CEO Choe Peng Sum said, “Millennial travellers today represent 20% of international travellers and are expected to grow rapidly to 320 million by 2020. It is for this special group of travellers that we created our intelligent, tech-forward and intuitive hotel residence brand, Capri by Fraser, to help them keep at the top of their game.

“We are thrilled to be bringing the Capri by Fraser brand to Australia following the success we’ve experienced with our flagship property Capri by Fraser, Changi City, Singapore, and particularly in such an outstanding location in inner city Brisbane,” said Sum.

The Brisbane hotel will be located within walking distance of Queen Street Mall, City Botanical Gardens, riverfront dining at Eagle Street Pier and commercial buildings including Waterfront Place. It will also be close to Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Southbank precinct.

Designed by Ministry Of Design, Capri by Fraser, Brisbane will feature a live vertical garden wall and art installations.

The hotel will have 239 Studio Deluxe, Capri Club Rooms and One Bedroom Executive suites, two meeting spaces – The Pod that fits 150 people and The Pow Wow boardroom that seats 12 people –  a 24/7 fully equipped gym, indoor swimming pool, steam and sauna, Capri Club Lounge, a Hot Spot mac station and 24/7 Spin and Play launderette with interactive games rooms where guests are fully entertained with foosball and Xbox Kinect between spin cycles.

The rooms all have a kitchenette, an ergonomically designed desk and Herman Miller work chairs, Malin and Goetz bath amenities, iPod docking stations, Nespresso machines and the latest home entertainment systems. Capri Club Room guests enjoy exclusive access to the Capri Club Lounge, serving complimentary breakfast with eggs cooked to order, all day tea and coffee, evening canapés and beverages.
